AJPS Sticker packs now available - $15 eaHowdy guys after 10 years I am taking a short break.
AJPS will still be running except land line and mobile calls will not be possible. I will have part time employees working, so pick up from the workshop is possible and can still fill and post orders. Email and PM will be the best means of contact and I can still answer tech questions and provide product support as well as continuing to be active on the forums.
Also credit card facilities are not available currently (although you can use your CC through Paypal with no problems). We will be moving to an automated website that is more interactive and easier to use and can process you payments (incl credit card) online.
Will post some more updates soon about the new chapter for AJPS.
Cheers
Greetings all.
Sorry for the lack of updates. Will bring you up to speed. Sorry its a bit long but it has been a while.
2013 signals our 10th year in business from very humble beginnings and we are still going. After some tragic news I decided it was a good time to go away for a bit.
Did some driving in the new GT86 at Nurburgring and was very impressed. Definitely a platform we are interested in developing some parts for in the future. Was so balanced and rewarded good, smooth driving, the perceived lack of power quotes I see bandied about the internet are really only apparent when you make a mistake the recovery takes longer.
When I returned home we had the Legend of the Lakes hillclimb in Mt Gambier. What a great event for drivers and spectators alike. For those unfamiliar it's quite a technical course for a hillclimb and really tested car and driver as opposed to Mt Alma which really needs a lot of power for the hill. We tried some different tyres with good results. Weather was perfect, event very well run with an awesome mix of cars. The Corolla performed faultlessly all weekend, just checking tyre pressures and oil. It was our first year there and the times we dropping every run, we won our class and got to 34th outright amongst a sea of AWD turbos. Results here. And new pic is up in the motorsport pics folder.
Into 2013 I spent some time in New Zealand. Drove some amazing roads, saw some amazing cars on the street and thanks to more relaxed (read: normal) modification laws and opened up more of our selling market over there. To NZ customers I now have an NZ bank acct for easier transactions.
In the past month I have done the Mt Alma hillclimb. The hill is a bit steep for corollas as I am about 2 seconds off the pace by the first corner. The timing system rewards consistency, which the car usually is, so I had some hope of a top 30 finish. Unfortunately the gearbox selector fork broke changing into second and had to trundle up the hill stuck in 3rd. Race and weekend over.
The future sees us looking at expanding into new platforms and looking for holes in the flooded market. We are also streamlining our product range to open our webstore.
We have just released a T shirt commemorating our 10 years in business – you order in the thread and see the design here.
Stay safe and warm over winter and keep the Toyotas alive!
Howdy guys
Been another busy month at AJPS. Been trialling some new products – Signuare swaybars (page coming soon) - Australian made, black, to our specs and sizes, super pro bushes. Also Got luisi grifons back in stock. There is a few specials this month – see my ae86drivingclub page for the latest specials and dont forget to check ajpsonline on ebay.
We have a race coming up this Wednesday the 22nd of August. Its the Classic Targa Adelaide special stage. Would love to see a few of you there. I will be in the green 3sg corolla.
More information available here:
http://targa.com.au/tc/page_standard.asp?asset_id=2565
Its a great event and will be good to run the corolla against porsches, lambos, evos and skylines.
Until next time - take it easy.
JUNE UPDATE 2012
Gday from AJPS.
Hope everyone is staying warm during these months. Most things are back to normal.
Havent updated in a long time but thanks to Aaron he has made the site MUCH easier to update. Big thanks.
You may notice some products missing - we are streamlining our product range, too many items, that we barely break even on.
Luisi will now be coming directly from Italy so the prices and supply should change - for the better - email me if you would like an up to date quote and lead time.
Madhouse lips are back and are now made in Adelaide. The quality of fit and finish is light years ahead of the other lips. Come down and have a look or new photos on ae86drivingclub.com.au
Mt Alma hillclimb was a great success and we learnt a lot - even with street tyres in a sea of turbo AWDS with r spec tyres. Results here - mountalmamile.com - Class record for improved production under 2l.
Now preparing for legend of the lakes hillclimb in Mt Gambier later in the year. Can with have some improvements hoping to go better again.
Look out for more updates on the site in the coming weeks.
Stay safe.
Hello again from AJPS.com.au a belated happy new year! Hope you all stayed safe.
Our thoughts go out to our customers and friends affected in the recent natural disasters!
We made a donation to the QLD flood appeal and hope theyre back on their feet as soon as possible.
This has affected supply of HKB boss kits and Cusco items, but as the majority of our products are made in Australia we have been largely unaffected.
These problems should be over by the time you read this as electricity rationing is pretty much over.
Onto the parts.
Performance and I are in talks about a 15x9 superlight to bridge the gap between the current 15x8 and the 15x10 superlight.
There is a few threads on the forums about it but if you are interested, let me know via email. sales@ajps.com.au
Pending the acceptance of the entry AJPS may have a 3sge beams corolla in Classic Targa Adelaide
Few new parts to look out for in the next few months.
Until then happy motoring!
Cheers

Greetings to the faithful
It has been another crazy month here at AJPS. Lots of things happening, here is a quick summary.
At the request of many 50mm RCA have been released for those who like to go super low, which reminds me I now have a guard roller to hire out.
MA61 rack mount bushes coming soon should be ready by end of September keep an eye on the Super Pro section.
Another shipment of Luisi Grifon are on their way from Italy, eta start of October, pricing should remain the same despite our dollar slipping.
Few price changes, a few up and downs, nothing major. Super Pro bushes and Performance Wheels were the main items to rise, but only a few %.
Looking into getting some AE86 specific short stoke Bilsteins made up with valving to suit the weight and use of the typical AE86. Will keep you posted.
As per the last update got plenty of Nulon oils with some specials going on at the moment. Had nothing but good reports about it and Im glad to have another all Australia company on board.
On that note, in the next few months I am looking to begin stocking Velo seats and harnesses, another world class Australian company.
On another note the recently closed down Selbys swaybars has been bought and 'reopened' by Fulcrum, but it seems they are only doing custom bars. Email me sales@ajps.com.au with your size preferences, Im thinking 23mm and 17mm if we have a choice.
Slim line ball joints etc have been selling really well and I still have some stock of KE10 and KE20 steering parts, but there is literally only a handful left. Once gone, they are gone…
Our yahoo Japan, Trademe and eBay experiments have worked well. I made a few sales to Japan and USA and strengthened my NZ sales which is great. If only I could find a reliable courier to freight my fiberglass bits internationally.
Looking to visit Japan at some stage in the next 12 months to play with Corollas and hang out with motorfix.jp, should be fun.
For the mean time, I will be endeavoring to get my 3SGE Beams running in my AE71 in time for the Hachiroku.com.au AE86 Annual, which promises to be an awesome day. If you're not from Adelaide I will offer free storage of 5 interstate cars while you're here.
One last one - Hugo's getting busy: Video

Enjoy!
Until next time,
Keep driving

Time flies when you're having fun, and time has been flying at AJPS.
Its been a fun few months, heaps of new parts, lots of stock.
Kenda tyres have been selling really well, and the 185/60 are always on hand.
A new work wagon has been purchased, high as hell with supra wheels.
Been trialing some hollow tanabe swaybars, so far so good, if they pass the test they'll appear on the site for sale, looking at about $330ea at this stage.
Those looking for 3sge Beams, I'll be able to help in about a month, when Ill have 6 available to me.
New tshirts out this month, stub axles braces this month.

What a crazy Christmas/Holiday period it was! Hope you guys had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thanks for the support through 2009! I worked through to keep up with orders that were pouring in.
Heaps of new parts coming out: got the Rack Bushes on special and the Steering Wheel Spacers have just been released.
The Rear Spring Seats have been selling better than expected, the first 10 pairs already sold! More in stock now.
New t-shirts with all new original designs will be out in the next week so keep an eye out for them in the Apparel Section.
I've also got a big shipment of new ball joints and tie rod ends in exceptional quality being delivered sometime in the next two weeks. They're a fully sealed joint meaning no grease nipple, which allows 40mm RCA with 13 inch wheels. Rejoice!
In other news my car and I had a small feature in the February Zoom and I've recently bought a 3sg Beams for my AE71, so all going to plan that will go in over the winter months, still a bit to do before then.
My panel van was unfortunately written off by a friend, but she will be replaced with another panel van, this time slightly different, stay tuned.
Rwdrivingclub.com.au will be receiving some updates and freshen ups as we welcome our 300th member in the next couple of weeks.
See you next month for another update from ajps.com.au

AJPS
Hello again for another month. It's been a while since updates.
My car is finally on the road, testing a lot of new products. See pictures and specs in the motorsport section on rwdrivingclub.com.au.
New products on the way include Quaife steering rack (2.5 turns lock to lock) and 4a – W5x bell housing kits. We now stock Italian made Spal thermo fans, after some trouble with cheaper fans, the spal is a very slim line and powerful unit, worth every cent. Available in 16 inch.
QFM brake pads have been a success and we now stock them for the 4 piston Nissans, Mazda's and of course the popular Toyotas. New t-shirts and hats are available too.
Also the 14x8 hurricanes will be available from Dec. 15 at $880 set.
rwdrivingclub.com.au has reached almost 300 members! The site will be receiving some attention in the New Year.
Lastly I would just like to mention we are now part of the Australian made campaign, where possible we use Australian products.
Have a good holiday season.
